Ředitelka Mezinárodního festivalu současného designu Designblok Praha.
V roce 2006 Jana spoluzaložila Akademii designu ČR, která každoročně uděluje ceny Czech Grand Design za produkt, módu, grafický design, šperkařství, fotografii a ilustraci. Za mimořádné zásluhy o český design jí v roce 2018 udělila Vysoká škola uměleckoprůmyslová v Praze titul Doctor honoris causa. V roce 2020 iniciovala vznik Asociace českého průmyslového designu, která sdružuje nejvýznamnější výrobce českého designu.
Designblok je první a nejstarší akcí „týden designu” ve střední a východní Evropě.

In 2006, Jana co-founded the Academy of Design of the Czech Republic, which bestows the annual Czech Grand Design Awards for product, fashion, graphic design, jewellery design, photography and illustration. In 2018 she was awarded the title of Doctor honoris causa by the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague for her extraordinary services to Czech design. In 2020 she initiated the creation of the Association of Czech Industrial Design, which brings together the most important producers in Czech design.
