Director of the Designblok Prague International Festival of Contemporary Design.
In 2006, Jana co-founded the Academy of Design of the Czech Republic, which bestows the annual Czech Grand Design Awards for product, fashion, graphic design, jewellery design, photography and illustration. In 2018 she was awarded the title of Doctor honoris causa by the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague for her extraordinary services to Czech design. In 2020 she initiated the creation of the Association of Czech Industrial Design, which brings together the most important producers in Czech design.
Designblok is the oldest design week in Central and Eastern Europe.
