And the winners of the Creative Heroes Award Czech Republic 2023 are…

• In award category 1:1,000 impact on a local scale, the winner is: Leoš Jiřele with Solea
• In award category 1:100,000 impact on a regional scale, the winner is: Filip Molčan with Good Sailors
• In award category 1:1,000,000 impact on a national scale, the winner is: Johanna Nejedlová with Konsent
• In award category 1:1,000,000,000 impact on an international scale, the winner is: Stanislava Bezdíček Králová of the University of Vienna, Centre for Microbiology and Environmental Systems Science, Division of Microbial Ecology

As the Creative Superhero Czech Republic 2023 was elected: Stanislava Bezdíček Králová.

The Creative Heroes Award focuses on the impact of creative thinking. It focuses on the person that leads the change, on the person that has the courage to stand up and challenge the current status quo. It zooms in on the creative process itself and on the people behind new concepts and innovations that have sustainable positive impact on people, society, and the environment.

Stanislava Bezdíček Králová of the University of Vienna, Centre for Microbiology and Environmental Systems Science, Division of Microbial Ecology, winner of the Creative Superhero award said: “This Creative Heroes Award is amazing for me because as scientists we usually don’t get appreciation from the public or even from colleagues. I really hope that this award can contribute to our unique Antarctic research being seen by other universities here and abroad, and that they are willing to help and collaborate on it.”

Bastiaan Brouns, Director of The Netherlands-Czech Chamber of Commerce, organisers of the Creative Heroes Award Czech Republic, added: “We congratulate all nominees.
